no databases after upgrade to 2.5.28.3 (resolved)

Featured Replies

I upgraded to version 2.5.28.3 of the GTN plugin recently and since then I have no garmin databases showing.  I've uninstalled and reinstalled completely (i.e. the trainer as well) but still have the same issue.

I'm not quite sure where to look from here!

RXP Logs attached in case they're of any use.

Sometimes you just need to keep searching for solutions..

edited my database location in the registry as per this thread

Not sure why the would have changed, but anyway working again fine now.

Hi,

I'm glad you've managed to solve the problem. Do you mind letting us know what the registry was pointing to before and what value did you change?

[RXP: I've moved your message, please follow the links already posted]

Hello guys,

recently I have updated GTN to the latest version.

However when I start it, it doesn´t show navigation or any other databases and on map I have only black background.

I tried to reinstall it but it didn´t work.

Is there some way I can fix this?

Thanks for any answers 🙂

I have the same problem and would love to know of a solution. This is the most difficult plugin download. It says I have the most recent trainer download but its not there. Black screen, thewn when I got it to light up, it says no database. I have spent several hours on this with no solution. Would be great to get a Youtube video to to help with setting this up properly.

Thanks

Hello,

I followed the solution mentioned upper.

My regedit has 6 entries: (default), binpath, BootstrapperLocation, DataPath, GtiExePath and LauncherExePath.

What should I do next?

Thanks for any answers.

Regards

It is great you do have the registry keys, but it would be most helpful you also tell what is their content (which like you might see, should be the path to which the trainer and the DB are supposed to be installed on your system, otherwise this will tell you what path to change to reflect the correct location in case the registry keys are pointing to somewhere else).
