March 7, 20215 yr Hello! I am working with a team that are setting up a simulator for light aircraft. - We are using RealSimGear hardware integrated with RealityXP software to display the GPS screens for the 530 and 650 models respectively. - We are working on some customized aircraft based on the default ones - Finally, we are using a custom plugin within X-Plane to change aircraft remotely. The plugin is using the built in XPlane SDK function XPLMSetUsersAircraft which commands the simulator to change the aircraft and reposition the user to closest runway. - The pc running the sim is using Win10 with XP11. (Unfortunately, I don't have access to the relevant sw versions right now) Everything was working fine but since the latest update of the RXP sw, when changing aircraft through our plugin, the GPS screens stop displaying and turn blank. This does not happen when changing aircraft "normally" via the XPlane menu. Could there be any conflict when using the SDK function? Should we modify the plugin and include any other steps after calling the aircraft change function? Any help or ideas would be highly appreciated. Edited March 10, 20215 yr by RXP
March 8, 20215 yr Hi, Could this be a bug introduced in a recent/latest XP11 version? It would help you cross-check the exact version number you're using. Besides you might want to also post the content of the RXP log files (see RXP User's Manuals for file/path).
March 10, 20215 yr Author Hello and thank you for the immediate response! It seems that the problem is gone. I am not sure what actually changed as there are different team members working on the project. Anyway, in case it matters, the versions installed are: X-Plane: 11.52r1 (build 115200 64bit) GTN 750/650 2.5.28.0 GNS v2 2.4.21.0 Thanks again and hopefully no more issues will arise!
