Deleting assignments

Featured Replies

I have two assignments I am unable to delete. I am using the Honeycomb Bravo throttle and have the parking brakes assigned to positions 34 and 35. This causes a conflict and I need to delete them. Each time I choose "remove assignments", the entry changes to red and I save. When I return, the assignment is there and green.

Any idea how to solve this issue?

Thank you

Michael

I will look at investigating the code for assigning and unassigning. This could be that you have encountered an upper limit (possibly 32) not usually encountered. Please try delete other assignments around 30-33. What Flt Sim and LINDA version are you using?

Also email me the config-hid.lua for the aircraft you are using and the same file for system. These are in:

/FSUIPC7/linda-cfg/aircrafts/{your aircraft} and /FSUIPC7/linda-cfg/system

You should be able to manually edit the config-hid.lua to 'unassign' these buttons.

  • Go to Joystick Setup page and not the VID/PID for the Bravo.
  • Open config-hid.lua in the aircrafts folder.
  • Find the block for the Bravo using noted VID/PID.
  • Delete the lines 34 and 35.
  • Save and restart LINDA.

Instead of removing the assignment, replace it with "do nothing".
