Alt-Tab?

Featured Replies

I'm not having any luck alt-tabbing to other apps from FSX. I can never return to FSX, and need to do the three fingered salute every time. Right now I have a real need to be able to do so.I have a gig of ram which is clearly not enough. The memory footprint of FSX appears astronomical even though it only uses about half a gig on my system (According to task manager).Anybody else having better luck or similar?I'll admit it though, I really like FSX over FS9- even with all fo my addons. The flight models are much improved for defaults and the scnery is better (except for the winter 'desert')Tim

I have the same issue. It is a known bug that MS included in the list stuff that might be a problem. Many will post suggestions that work for them, but NONE work for me. Hope your luck is better. Bob..

It was intermittent, but is now a permanent 'feature' :)Guess I'll just need to deal with it. I'll have to figure out what I'm going to do then...Tim

I give up after 15 minutes :)

Bob, That's strange you have the alt/tab problem as I have the exact same system as yours except you have an upgraded video card which is far more superior to my Radeon X800XT PCIe with only 256 MB of memory. It's funny how some of these bugs happen in some systems but not in every flight sim system.Best regards,Jim
