March 14, 20215 yr Hi, I'm still in limbo with MSFS2020. Now Microsoft Store won't even let me download and install MSFS2020. I get a pending then on to error. However, i can download other programs from the Store. Any ideas. [email protected] Mike.
March 14, 20215 yr Commercial Member I had this problem too, 2 weeks ago. In my case the culprit was the XBox app. Or so I assume. I didn't have any trouble before I installed it (I did that so I could buy something off the marketplace). But after this app had been installed, MSFS did not update anymore. I then tried to reinstall, but MS Store wouldn't let me, citing an error code x8...424 or something. After a bit of trial & error I removed the XBox app, and I manually deleted all registry keys related to the flightsimulator.exe. Unfortunately I did both at the same time, so I'm not sure what exactly solved the problem. But I would put my money on the XBox app, since the trouble started with it in the first place.
