I can't be the only one experiencing this, can I.I'll be flying IFR, and will be instructed to do whatever. I'll try to acknowledge, but when I bring up the ATC window, there will be no choices. ATC will ask a few times if I heard the transmission, then will cancel the flight plan. Only then will I get any choices appearring in the window. So I have to re-file the plan. I was doing this today, and I have no ida how many times I had to refile...over and over and over!I've been experiencing this ever since v1 of the FSX demo, and reported it when I first saw it while they were still working on bugs.Does anyone else get this, is there a solution?Andy

Andy.If you fly the demo, you can't expect what a full fsx at 14gb's will give. There are ofcourse limits to demoes.You did not tell us.

I mean I first saw it in the demo, and I've been running FSX Deluxe since it came out, and this still happens. I can't imagine it's just me who gets this, is it?The controller asks me to respond, I bring up the ATC window, there are no choices for me to select, after a few tries, the controller cancels my plan and tells me to continue VFR.

Andy,I have it happen quite often too. I found that if I cycle the comm frequency (standby to active and back to standby) I'll get the choices back when ATC repeats his instruction.

I fixed it like you do Andy, by refiling the flight plan. Next time I'll try cycling to standby freq and back. Thanks for the idea.

Andy. Got a thought. Check your default flight radio settings. It might have influence when making flight plans
