OBS Button Grayed out on Carenado Centurion 210

Featured Replies

Hello, everyone! I know this is probably a dumb question, but I can't work my way around it. I fiddled with everything in settings and can't find it how to make it work. Both my vFlyte Arrow III and Carenado Centurion display a grayed out OBS button on the GPS. Does anyone know how to help me?

Hi,

You might want to search for anything named "OBS" in the RXP GTN User's Manual?

There are settings for this and this is explained in detail.

Hi, thanks for the help. I read the manual twice, I (as mentioned above) toggled every toggle on the settings pane, none of them worked. Something was mentioned about discrete inputs and keyboard inputs, it seems not to be my case. So, from that standing point, I asked before and I ask again: is there some concrete feedback to be given to me on what I should do? Just remembering that I'm an airline pilot trying to fly my sim, not a developer looking to learn new code language. Thanks.

And I just read the manual a third time, and there is nothing mentioning turning OBS selector enabled or disabled..

you might have just missed it, this is why I'm suggesting using your PDF reader FIND/SEARCH function:

  • Open the User's Manual PDF file
  • Open the search/find function (usually CTRL+F)
  • Type the following letters: OBS
  • Press enter
  • Navigate the results and see the settings description for more details.

Hints: this is most likely documented in the "Settings" chapter; the GUI Settings Panel should prominently display settings with the word OBS visible as well.
