First World Problem - Entering Fuel Quantities

It's definitely a first world problem, but I have noticed the following oddity. Let's say I want to enter 7000 lbs of fuel. I start typing 7...the sim reads it as a 6... and wants to enter 6990.9-

I'm kind of a stickler for details, so if I need to enter 7000 lbs of fuel in one tank, I'm not satisfied with entering 6990.98. It works when I enter 7...the second time.

Am I missing something (except perspective 😀) or is anyone else seeing this?
