April 3, 20215 yr H135 0.81, and the new Aerosoft EDER. Seem to have less control with the 0.81 version than I did before, pedals don't seem to do much now in any of the modes. I shall be off to watch a view youtubes after posting this. I keep telling myself it can't be any different to learning to ride a bike/motorbike. I remember riding my first motorbike (well, my first without the additional support of a sidecar wheel, which was how you got to legally ride a 650 on a learner licence back in the '60s in the UK) extremely cautiously around the big car park out back of the sales place. Went perfectly fine until I tried to turn a corner and then down I went. Well, you didn't have to lean a sidecar, so what did I know? But I did some training run by some police motorcyclists and eventually got my advanced driving license for bikes, so I figure I must be able to beat this b*gger somehow. And at least it doesn't hurt when I crash this thing. Anyway, here's a few shots around the new EDER scenery, which has a nice feel to it and was quite cheap. I'd been messing around trying out landings for a while before I recorded any of the flight, so these start after a takeoff from a field and take us back to the airfield to finish. And no, this wasn't where I was intending to land!
