Is it possible to automatically start on the runway + reset?

Featured Replies

Hi,

I am very new to FS2020 but lots of experience in Previous versions about to 2002, and some in FS9 and FSX. In FSX I had it set up so when it launched it would load a saved flight with me in my favourite airplane on the runway ready to go without having to click through menus. It is also set so that is FSX detects a crash it resets you back to the start of the flight.

I've also set it up in the past so that it starts in mid air on approach to practice landings. Same idea just in the air rather than on the runway.

Is there any way to do this in FS2020 either by default or with third party applications?

I don't think this is possible you would at least have to load a saved flight from the world map

Thanks for the reply! So no way to do that from a a command line, ie create a shortcut with parameters to load a particular flight?

Or can you bind loading a particular flight to a keybinding or macro?

I suppose it could be possible, some on smarter then me may hopefully chime in,I really miss that feature also

I'm thinking the only way would be to use a second program that could program some mouse-click macros, to click through the menus, and hopefully be able to bind those macros to a keypress or joystick button.
