April 4, 20215 yr My updated sim is still not as good as it was before the last update, but I just flew the Cj4 from St Louis to Chicago Midway. I have to say that even with its flaws, it is still a huge milestone above FSX. 30 miles out of Midway you could clearly see the Great Lake curve and on final, the 25+ knot bumpy headwind required great attention to airspeed and attitude. Sure, its still got lots of problems, but I find the whole thing far more immersive than anything I've flown before. Other than the stutters which still show up, my biggest gripe is the ground colors. In some areas like the southwest, they're not bad, but in general the terrain is just much too green and drabby brown. Maybe once some of the other glaring issues get resolved, we'll have landmass colors that are more realistic than what we have currently. And....Happy Easter everyone ! Jim
