April 5, 20215 yr Hello everyone. I'm quite intrigued by the idea of joining a virtual airline to further my sim experience. I've read a lot of good things about Walker Air, and I think I'm going to apply to become a pilot for them. I just have a few questions I'm having a hard time finding answers to, so hopefully someone can clear things up a bit for me. 1. Do I need to fly using Live Weather and time? 2. Weather permitting, can I fly VFR? ( I plan on flying exclusively GA....Arrow, Mooney, Bonanza, 172, etc...) 3. When flying IFR, is my FP generated for me or can I make my own? 5. What is the purpose of my "hub"? Will I be operating primarily out of whichever one I choose, or are there opportunities to fly out of smaller surrounding airfields also? 6. Is joining a virtual airline actually worthwhile if all I want to do is fly shorter GA flights? Or is this more geared toward airliner flying? Thanks in advance! Edited April 5, 20215 yr by FakeWayne
