January 2, 200719 yr Hello,This may be old info for some but - I had a problem with my TRACKIR in FSX - it would not respond to head movements for long periods of time. I found a tip somewhere and UPDATED my Chipset Drivers. It fixed the problem. In my case, the MOB is ASUS AN8-SLI Delux - chip set is NVIDIA. I found the updates on the NVIDIA site.Cheers and happy new year to all,Ron Sagel
January 2, 200719 yr Hey RonI am having similar problems with my Track IR. At random intervals, all the lights will go out for about 10 seconds causing the sim to hang until they come back on.When you say long periods of time how long are you talking about, a few seconds or minutes?I have the same mobo so will give it a shot. Thanks for posting this tip
January 2, 200719 yr Author Hello,It would hang from 1-10 seconds. Right now, it works fine. I am still very suspicious about all of my addons with FSX. I use a rather big GOFLIGHT setup and it works fine. But it adds "info" to the DLL file and I can't download any addons that use their own "addon" manager like Cloud9 KMCO. The old FS9 just put DLL's into the module folder and it was easy to manage. I'm learning to save my FSX "setup" files in backup areas to restore the system to previous configs that "worked" before I make a change and mess it all up.Cheers and happy new year,Ron Sagel
