Featured Replies

Hi am running a home version of win 10 64 bit on my hp laptop ive installed fs9 no problem & have had just some minor issues not that bad but the other day i done a flight in the pmdg 737NG Glasgow to Dusseldorf my keyboard & mouse were running fine untill the end of the flight when i goes to end it i got a notification saying my mouse & keyboard will no longer work i just ignored it & sure it was true the sim loads up as normal but keyboard & mouse not working at all am lost because they work on everything else on my computer would appreciate anyones help pls

If you have a backup of your fs9.cfg I suggest that you firstly compare them and if there is any difference in size, that you replace the existing one with your backed up one.

Your kind of problem quite often happens to me as well and is caused by the fs9.cfg being re-created but for no apparant reason.

Good luck

Hans

Are you using a separate (USB, Wireless or Bluetooth) keyboard and mouse?

Devices like these can be powered down by the o/s if they're not used, to save battery. FS9 then "thinks" the device has been unplugged and reacts accordingly. There should be a setting somewhere, possibly in the power-saving section, to change this action. You might be able to prove the point by using the built-in keyboard and mouse/touchpad/whatever for test purposes.
