  1. Excellent work! Makes my recent efforts rather pale into insignificance. Part of a current project which I anticipate sharing in due course πŸ™‚ LFOX - Etampes Mondesir
  2. A few more details may prove fruitful. Making a set of textures for a specific aircraft can be a time-consuming project. Producing textures for what may be a fleet of several different types of aircraft for an airline is definitely a labour of love. If the textures you're after don't already exist there's a fair chance no-one else is very interested. Maybe best settle down with a suitable paint program and a couple of tutorials and learn to do it yourself πŸ˜‰
  3. For pure aesthetic attraction ... I really do like several older De Havilland designs, the pre-war DH88 Comet Racer, the DH104 Dove, the original DH106 Comet (despite it's design faults) and the DH114 Heron all appeal to my eyes πŸ™‚
  4. Well done ... I couldn't find it ... neither could the OP, by all accounts πŸ™‚ Nothing curious about the URL I posted ... just a shared folder on my OneDrive. I'll delete the files now the "correct" URL has been ascertained.
  5. Seeing as it doesn't appear to be available anywhere else, here's all I've got for Mehlin Rainer's AI A380 as downloaded from avsim https://1drv.ms/f/s!AkzZuPOaEswYhGw-IBIMBeAJ0QeI?e=JVUh2j I collected these many years ago and squirreled them away "just in case" πŸ˜‰ I only ever used it to set up a fly-past for Visual Flight's Farnborough Air Display back in 2007 πŸ˜‰ I don't have any other versions or repaints. Hope it helps πŸ™‚
  6. He doesn't give up! I want ... I want ... I want ... I can't be bothered to do it myself.
  7. Full marks for taking the opportunity to point out this person's failings. Whomsoever they may be they seem to be totally oblivious to any suggestion that involves themselves actually making an effort to read any instructions ...
  8. As I wrote above :- "... I'm sure all this is covered in the Help file" "AFCAD is a perfectly serviceable program, but it does have it's limitations. If you're doing a lot of airport editing, you might care to consider ADE (Airport Design Editor) Downloads - ScruffyDuck Software or, my favourite, SceneGenX FS2004 Scenery Generator X - Misc. - FlightSim.Com" ... and as hjwalter wrote :- " ... you should initially go through the instructions to at least be able to perform some of the basics and to learn how they work." As for airline codes, I'm strictly VFR ... I don't use them!
  9. You'll only create a new green circle (or anything else) if you select that option on the toolbar. If you select the pointer you can click-&-hold on any item then drag it to wherever you want it ... I'm sure all this is covered in the Help file πŸ˜‰
  10. For me, I can "move the map around" using the arrow keys on my keyboard and zoom in and out with the + and - (plus and minus) keys on the numeric keypad (I've got a full-size keyboard, it may be different on a laptop) For the "greencircle", right-click on it, choose properties and then change the heading πŸ˜‰ AFCAD is a perfectly serviceable program, but it does have it's limitations. If you're doing a lot of airport editing, you might care to consider ADE (Airport Design Editor) Downloads - ScruffyDuck Software or, my favourite, SceneGenX FS2004 Scenery Generator X - Misc. - FlightSim.Com Enjoy πŸ™‚
  11. So, the relevant question is, do you have the quoted key in your Registry and if so, where does it point to?
  12. It might be worthwhile double-checking any documentation that came with the sceneries and software in question. I do know from experience that UK2000 (or was it Just Flight?) gave settings recommendations for a lot of the UKVFR FS9 scenery, to try to smooth out "distance effects", but that scenery is about as old as FS9 itself, so things, especially video hardware, will have changed πŸ˜‰ Haha ... your reply popped up as I was typing this! Enjoy πŸ™‚
  13. Looks "normal" to me πŸ™‚ That "moving pixels" effect can be down to the bitmap being re-scaled at different distances so's to improve framerates ... effectively loading a smaller image for distant objects. The concept can work well for individual items, like buildings etc., which don't need detail at distance, but with continuous expanses of the same texture the effect can be a little off-putting. You can try adjusting the various settings in FS9 to reduce or even eliminate the effect, Options | Settings | Display, but the result may be less "realistic" and/or slow down frame-rates too much. Make a note of your settings to start with so's you can revert if you make no improvement πŸ˜‰
  14. Yes, that's how they are, but it's easy enough to isolate any particular field from the bgl file names should you wish to. Do bear in mind that these sceneries were designed to be "fill-in" details, not all-encompassing sceneries for the major airfields, for which individual downloads were available, but never, to my knowledge, made freeware. A lot of these sceneries were updates from previous FS2002 (and earlier?) releases and were still designed to be backward compatible with the earlier versions of FS, so they'll never be as sophisticated as the later releases.
  15. At least some of the bonus files are still available on the Internet Archive Parts1-8 (archive.org)
