Well, if it's normal in the game, then yes, I'll have to get used to it.

Today I made a flight from Heathrow to Boston, USA. During my stay in London, I noticed that my fps did not exceed 30 and in some cases, 20. I have a 4060 8GB, Ryzen 5 5500 and 16GB RAM. Addons i have GSX Base ( no lvl2 ), Aerosoft Heathrow, Aerosoft A330, FlyTampa Boston, Flight1 Ultimate Traffic Live and Orbx FTX Global and Vector In-game settings: https://ibb.co/tKF2DRZ - DISPLAY https://ibb.co/nRJdNzq - WORLD https://ibb.co/GMVC562 - LIGHTING https://ibb.co/YNvZKbw - WEATHER Extra info: The low fps thing only happens on land, which makes me think it may be ftx global or utlive (high density). Even so, I think there has to be a solution for it, since I think my computer is capable of handling the game without problems. Greetings. EDIT: I checked task manager, and i saw that the CPU Core 0 is at 100% and the rest is under 40%.

As a final answer to this question. After testing that, indeed, restarting the computer without any application in the background, the game does not crash, today I decided to try, have discord open and set the fsx priority in "real time" from the task manager. It doesn't crash, so that's my easy solution to the problem.

I did it, I finished a flight without the game crashing. I have restarted the computer as mentioned before and I closed some applications that open at start. I have even entered the map several times and there were no problems either. But my question is, if I have an application like pro atc x, the game also crashes?

Well, this afternoon I did a test flight, LEZL - LEMD, everything was going perfectly until I started to change some settings (I didn't have the fps set to 30 for example) and when I opened the map to get the ILS information, the game It froze, the little blue wheel appeared on the mouse and then it just closed. I'm starting to think it's something compatible with my Windows, something corrupt.
-
I haven't had time to test it, but as I understand it, fsx becomes unstable when there are applications in the background.
-
Normally I have the browser with a checklist and with simbrief, but I can solve that using pdf reader or something like that. Other programs that I normally have open are discord, spotify, intel driver assistant and other things in the background.

Honestly, I haven't played fsx in a long time, specifically since It started crashing due to the compatibility of Windows 10 with the game. I tried to fix it, such as reinstalling the .dll that supposedly caused the problem (although with the steam edition nothing bad should happen), installing windows 7 on another computer but it was too weak, or even installing it inside my computer as dual boot, but my computer apparently is too new for windows 7. Nothing I have tried to do has worked, and I would like to know if there is a specific version (22Hsomething) in which these crashes do not occur. If someone asks what type of crash it is: it is when you change the view a lot or sometimes it closes by itself. Maybe someone knows about it. Greetings.

Well, I think it won't be possible, the computer won't turn on anymore.
-
I don't really need it, I have a more powerful computer than that, I just wanted to play with it, and the idea of installing Win XP on it and trying fs9 occurred to me. Even try other games like call of duty 1, etc... Although I don't think I'm going to get it since I still haven't gotten it to turn on properly.

Good night... Today is the day I have written the most on this forum in my entire life. Today when I was about to leave class, I saw a graphics card, it was a Radeon X550 with 128mb vram. My question is to know if I have enough to play fs9 with large addons, or play fsx, although from what I have seen, 256mb is recommended. Greetings

Textures look pixelated from a distance

Well, the strange effect on the textures is gone, I have lowered the mipbias to 5. The thing about the textures looking pixelated from a certain distance, I think it's the game and my monitor being very large... -

Ok, thank you very much for the info, now I'll put it to the test. The settings I had were all the bars at maximum along with some tweaks. So it's easy to go back -
