Did ATC descent calls improve recently?

I just had a fabulous flight from MMMX to KSAN in the Citation L and marvelled at the logical and plausibal calls from FL440 on into an approch procedure to Rwy27.   Did the prior rediculous ATC descent level calls get addressed or did I just slop into a lucky one?  

Taking off at MMMX at early dusk was so believeable one absolutely gets the feeling they're in Mexico City.    The entire flight was flawlessly smooth save one very brief unexplained drop in frames to 24-27 happened about 25m south of KSAN.  The flight was chasing dusk and by the time we were lined up to land all dusk sky color had just finally faded to dark and lighting was spectacular the whole way.  Same same for this lovely flight up NW coast of Italy and on up to Milan the other day.  The value of being in this real world is hard to quantify, but the feeling that accomanies this is completely lacking in P3D, and as a result I've not been back for at least a month now, despite struggling w/ a few performance issues.   Getting rid of the spinning loading indicator was the icing on the cake as microstutters of any kind disappeared since then.  I go thru that ritual of deleting the consule contents of errors/warnings/messages before each flight and it's been fabulous once again, consistently.  I would like an RTX3090 though
