Is there a way to paint an aircraft without using the texture folder in FSX?

Probably, but you wouldn't see them in the sim. I can't see where you're coming from with this question. Elucidate.

Sorry about not being clear on the question.  I have downloaded two of Chuck Dome's aircraft, Subsonex and Subsonex2.  Neither one of which, that I can see, have the body of the aircraft in the texture folder.  So can the aircraft be displayed somehow without textures?
