Traffic Toolbox - Dump Airport List - No List

Featured Replies

I open the Dump Airport List dialog, tell it to dump the default airport list as stated in the SDK instructions, and all I get is the following error:"Unable to open the airport list file"Any ideas how I can get a default airport dump? Thanks,Paul Dahlen

Paul,Your post is a little confusing. I dumped the airport list no problem. In the FSX tools/dump airports you have to tell it where you want the airports list dumped and give it a name. I dump mine to the TDBB folder as "MyFSXAirports.dat". After dumping the airports go to the folder you dumped into and you should see your airports file which can be opened with notepad. If you wish to use the TDBB.exe to produce a new traffic BGL you will have to make or modify a a suitable batch file with appropriate parameters mine looks like this: TrafficDatabaseBuilder.exe /Airports=MyFSXAirports.dat /Airports=My_Custom_Airports.dat /AircraftTypes=MyFSX_Com_Aircraft_Types.csv /Output=Com_Traffic.BGL /Quiet=No /StatsDir=BuilderStats /Log=Buildlog.txt /Countries=countries_regions.csvPAUSEI hope that this helped.John

Sorry to be confusing. Named the list and log files and hit the button. Got the error I spoke of - no dump files.
