May 20, 20215 yr I've looked through the postings on this forum going back maybe 7 or 8 pages and have seen nothing related to this problem and its (hopeful) fix, so I'm giving this question a try. I have an aircraft I've copied over from FS9 to FSX and following this move I've noted the aircraft's cockpit windows are greyed out when viewed from the outside. From the inside out everything is normal as re: views. I'm not sure where the issue lies with this matter except the textures involved are in .bmp format and there may be something involving the alpha channel in the texture that is not agreeing with the FSX format. Is there a workaround for this greying-out issue?
May 20, 20215 yr The windows in the Dreamfleet B58 Baron went from opaque to tolerably transparent by adjusting the 'DFB58_GLASS_T.bmp' alpha from pure white to 70,70,70 and saving as a '.dds' file. WS Edited May 20, 20215 yr by Ranger75
