May 23, 20215 yr So, I purchased P3d v4 and I selected to install on my 2TB Drive D. In the install destination line D was accepted and I assumed the installer would create a Prepar3d or LM folder for the simulator. It did not. Basically Prepar3d's guts are all over Drive D and mixed in with other folders that were already on the drive. Would I have to create a destination folder myself similar to the default Drive C destination it wanted to create? Anyone have any tips on this? My drive C is only 240 gigs and I only had 59 gigs to play with. Not much after scenery, weather, RXP, Traffic, and addon aircraft are installed. Any advice? Thanks.
May 23, 20215 yr yes you need to create an installation folder and place p3d in that make sure its outside Program ( x86). personally i have it on a separate drive (nvme). is your 2TB drive a regular hard drive or SSD ? . HDD is not recommended anymore for obvious reasons. i would invest in a couple of SSD'S for P3D and any addon thats you have with it and can i ask why/how you purchased V4 and not V5? 🤔 Edited May 23, 20215 yr by sonny147 ROG Crossair Hero X670e , 9900X, TUF 4090 , X4 NVME's.
