May 24, 20215 yr Hello. I am having the same problem. Windows 10 latest edition. I have McAfees AV program installed. This all started after an update I downloaded a while ago. I got so frustrated a gave up on using the gtn. I would like to try this again. I just recently (yesterday) tried downloading the software from my F1 account. Before I downloaded, I turned off the McAfee firewall and scanner. I also added an exclusion for the gtn installer in the McAfee scanning section. I tried excluding some of the files that were mentioned earlier in the posts, but found that most of them (files) aren't even included in the folders. Even though I have the McAfee firewall and scanner turned off, windows defender pops up and says they are blocking the installation. I let it continue anyway and it downloads but it must be grabbing some files because all I get is a black screen on the GTN. It shows up in the menu and everything seems fine until you turn on the batteries and avionics. If I try to stop windows defender, it says it's controlled by McAfee program. Please help. May 24, 20215 yr Hi, I've move your post to its own topic, because if you got it installed with the plugins menu showing up, it seems you don't have a blocked download problem. Can you please post the content of the RXP log files? (see RXP GTN User's Manual for file/path).

I just did a complete reinstall and removed everything before starting. There was one file I noticed in the McAfee quarantine file which was the 32.dll file the log refers to below. I hit the restore button on McAfee but not sure where that sends it? It doesnt appear to be in the C:\ProgramData\Reality XP\rxpGtnSim32.dll location rxpGTN.xpl.log - 21/05/28 21:31:35.771 12400 - ] # win.xpl version 2.5.28.2 21/05/28 21:31:35.771 12400 INFO ] rxpGtnSim.dll.log - 21/05/28 21:31:38.503 12400 - ] # rxpGtnSim64.dll version 2.5.28.0 21/05/28 21:31:38.503 12400 INFO ] 21/05/28 21:38:47.246 12400 INFO ] GTN 750.1 - TRAINER 6624 21/05/28 21:38:53.262 12400 ERROR] GTN 750.1 process not ready: The specified module could not be found., code: 0000007e 21/05/28 21:38:53.282 12400 ERROR] check if file is missing or your antivirus: C:\ProgramData\Reality XP\rxpGtnSim32.dll I just found it back in the quarantine file after I had already hit the restore button:. Here is what is happening: I restore the quarantined file rxpGtnSim32.dll which is already set up in McAfee as an excluded file from scanning. I see it in the C:\ProgramData\Reality XP location.along with the 64.dll file. Then I restart Xplane11 and the file is quaratantined again. Ok, i just re-added the file to exclusion list and now it works. !!!!!!!! Wow I guess i'm good...thank you very much!!! Edited May 28, 20215 yr by rcburse
May 29, 20215 yr Author Actually, I spoke to soon. I am finally getting the 750 to turn on but it says no database and therefore shows no map and can not create a flight plan..
