January 18, 200719 yr Anyone suffering from a complete screen white-out in FSX? This looks rather like the old FS9 trouble when you were positioned (view) in the slipstream of dust/smoke. I get it in all views when flying the Pilatus Porter from FDS (smoke system either on or off does not make any difference. Yup I do have latest video drivers. Thanks - Dave
January 18, 200719 yr yes i had that same problem also , i believe i corrected it by unchecking the reflective lites or somthing like that, its right above the light blooms.i would be looking at my plane on the ground and all of a sudden the whole screen would go white on me, i would flip to another screen and it would go back to normal and then with out notice it goes white again.so i unchecked the light reflection and i have not had anymore trouble so far.im not for sure if that solves the problem but it did stop after that . You know its been a long time since i had software this powerful that makes you really work to enjoy it.hope this helps...........Robert
January 18, 200719 yr The solution is a little more involved than that, see below thread:http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=sho...id=383241&page=Lee Lee H i9 13900KF 64GB Ram 24GB RTX 4090
January 18, 200719 yr Thanks guys - I have turned off the reflections and will report back after the next trial flight Cold Bay to Sand point....
January 19, 200719 yr Problem solved by switching off the aircraft reflections. Now I wonder if MS will correct this apparent fault in their programming in the form of a patch for FSX?.
