It works when I am typing in every other situation. When I am trying to go direct to KLAX or any other airport that contains an "A", FS just ignores the letter. Any ideas?

It would be worthwhile checking the key assignments in the controls options. FSX does sometimes make random changes, and may have assigned some other GPS action to the "A" key. (In other views, the normal action for the "A" is to cycle through views, but this doesn't cause a problem as it would be disabled in the GPS.)Regards, Stewart.
