Is there an issue with the ATC / ASP4D / GSX dialog boxes crashing?

Just had a flight where moments after takeoff, I couldn't contact ATC, the ASP3D box kept randomly popping up. It was really frustrating and totally spoilt the flight.

Is there a way around this or a way to reset it in the sim?
