June 20, 20214 yr Some Royal Homes of Denmark - and more points of interest We depart from Esbjerg (EKEB), first we head for the coast and then turn inland. The first landing will be at Billund (EKBI). The town is the home of the Lego interacting blocks. We turn east, cross over the Small Belt and land at Odense's Hans-Christian-Anderson airport (EKOD). We fly south and visit Egeskov Castle. The next landing is at Sulkendrup (EKNO). The airfield is really hard to find. I added a further waypoint at the arrival end of runway 27. We cross the Large Belt and admire the bridge before we land at Korsör (EKKO). Again, this landing is very hard to spot, I added a waypoint at the arrival end of runway 29! Both airfields are missing windsocks or other prominent structures that make it easier finding them. We land at Ringsted (EKRS) before heading north towards Roskilde and the Cathedral in the center of the town. We turn east again and land at Copenhagen's International Airport Kastrup (EKCH). We overfly the famous Öresund-Bridge and reach Sweden. We land at Malmö's International Airport Sturup (ESMS). We head north and make one more landing in Sweden, at Landskrona (ESML). We cross back into Denmark and visit the Kronborg at Helsingör. Our next landing is at Grönholt (EKGH). From here we head west and visit Fredericksborg Palace. At Copenhagen we will see the Opera House, Amalienborg and Rosenborg Palaces before we turn west to land at the former Danish Airforce Base Vaerlöse (EKVL). Flight plans and a pilot's guide here.
