Complete Clean Win 10 Reinstall Question

I have a number of things with my system I want to fix or alter and it can best be done with a total reinstall. My question is this

I have two drives, C and D. Woukd a complete wipe and reinstall also remove the files in my Drive D?

Perhaps best to describe the nature of all that you have stored on your D: drive?  Example: software programs and apps. Installations of those made to D may have generated entries into the Windows Registry.  So while reinstalling Windows should not wipe that drive D,  it still could create issues with such programs and apps after reinstalling Windows.

Well, there is software on it. Namely my Steam library minus FSX. Easily replaceable. Also P3D v4.5 which I want on C  which is an SSD.

What I really want to save are two folders. One with favored freeware. And the other with copies of FSX panel configs I worked hard to put together. I asked because I wondered if I should double check the size of those files and maybe get a thumbdrive for them.
