Saitek SPs reset to default mode after AAO re-start.

Featured Replies

I have two Saitek switch panels both with various switch assignments made in "aircraft midi mode" that work well.

Problem is that if the AAO program is closed and restarted the two switch panels revert back to default mode in the Saitek panel config window and I have the two switch panels duplicating themselves with the same default Saitek firmware (?) assignments.
If I then disable the switch panels in AAO, re-config them to aircraft midi mode and re-enable they are back to working as I originally assigned.
Just annoying have to do this every time I start up AAO.

Thanks.

Edit: Also happens if I save the assignments as a template then re-apply that template (replace option).

What does that look like exactly?

I can confirm that the setting reverts back to default mode, but I can't see my Switchpanel twice? Where would I have to look for this?

I was only able to reproduce it once - now it is working normally, without making any changes to the app.

After you switch the operation mode, for example to "aircraft midi", use "Tools->Save database now". This seems to be an issue with saving the setting automatically.

I have two Switch Panel units in my setup.

I just mean they both revert to default settings.

I will try the save database command.

Thanks again.
