July 14, 20214 yr Hi RXP. I have a problem with the Reality XP GTN 750. When I load a flight plan and then activate it, the GPS turns to a heading at 90 degrees to the heading it should be on. For instance if the heading is 090 degrees, the plane will go to a heading of 360 degrees. I have the CDI set to GPS. This problem occurs to all my aircraft (mostly Carenado) in which I have installed the unit. In one aircraft, I remove the GTN and did a flight with the Carenado Garmin 530 and the aircraft followed the flight flan flawlessly. I have uninstalled the program and removed all instances I could find of Reality XP in Program Data, App Data/Local, App Data/Roaming and Documents folders I then re-installed the program but the problem persists. I have installed version v2.5.28.4 into P3D V5.2 HF1. I have got Gramin Trainer version 6.70.29.0 installed. I have also been having problems with the Garmin Trainer causing P3d to stop responding both in P3D Version 5.2 and in version 5.2 HF!. Have you any idea how to fix the problem. Cheers Bernie Forrestal.
July 15, 20214 yr Author Hi all. I have managed to fix the problem. This time I uninstalled both the Reality XP GTN 750 and the Garmin Trainer. I downloaded the latest version of the Reality XP GTN 750 from the "Check for Updates" menu in the Add-ons menu in P3D. This in turn downloaded the Latest Garmin Trainer. Installed all and set up the GPS in the Carenado Piper PA31-310 Navajo and it works fine. I don't know what I did differently but at least it works again. Computers, who can understand them!! July 17, 20214 yr I'm glad you've find a solution! Sometimes we don't always understand what's going on with Windows and software (and believe me this happens to all of us) 😂 Edited July 17, 20214 yr by RXP
