July 28, 20214 yr I am currently "uninstalled" waiting for the bottlenecks to go away. I intend to do a completely "fresh" install as contrasted with a reinstall. My installation was a Windows Store variety. I intend to place the new install in a custom location. In the meantime I am looking for any information on how to purge without future impact some left over empty folders I see and to clean up any other orphans and widows so to speak. I ran a registry check with CCleaner but nothing MSFS related came up in its resulting list of issues to resolve. I have also done some pecking around in appdata. I recognize there are settings and logbook residing in the Cloud that I cannot control. I am however focused on first purging what is local on my system. I have searched and cannot find anything definitive written on completing a total purge before a new install? If there is such information already residing somewhere I would appreciate a link to it.
