with an i5 processor, 4 gigs of video ram, and 8 gigs system ram.

1. I did a complete reinstall of the sim.

2. Updated all the content in-.game

3. I had a couple of ctds on the "checking for update" screen, but that seems to have sorted itself. 

4. Loaded up REX Textures, WT CJ4 mod and the G 1000 nxi

Loading times from initially clicking on the desktop icon to being in the cockpit has been reduced by about 30-40%.

Less lag, fewer/no stutters, view changes snappier. Sim seems much smoother. I just tooled around at an airport. 

Moving between game and menus also feels snappier and smoother. 

No numbers, just my subjective impression.
