FS Genesis Landclass news

Recommended Posts

Here's some news from FS Genesis. Things have been very busy behind the scenes at FSGenesis as we have been putting all available production resources into the all-new US National Landclass Project for FSX. Completely rebuilt from the ground up, as it were, using a new, enhanced dataset, we expect to have USLC-X ready for release within a few more days. The Release Candidate will be available to all Galaxy-class members on or about Friday, February 16 for a quick test flight before being made available for purchase by the rest of the community shortly thereafter. More details coming later in the week, but we think you're in for a visual treat.Craig ASUS A8N- nForce SLI Chipset SATA RAID Dual PCIe MOBOAMD ATHLON64 3500+ CPU w/ HT TechLG GWA-4161 DVD/CDSeagate ST3160811AS 160GB Barracuda 9 7200RPM 8MB SATA II 3Gb/s NCQSeagate ST3160811AS 250GB Barracuda 9 7200RPM 8MB SATA II 3Gb/s NCQEVGA 7950 GT KO PCIe 512mb nvodngov19147-[Guru3D.com] drivers SB Audigy 22G Corsair PC 3200 400MHZ Dual Channel DDR Super Alien 500W P/STrack IR3 w/vectorCH Yolk & RuddersFS Genesis Terrain MeshActive SkyRC4

help a bit with the Great American Desert (I know, it's mostly a texture issue...) My other dream, aside from actual satellite of course, would be to have more realistic (i.e. progressive) transitions between towns and country (goes for night lighting too).

Sure be nice to have the AK and BC/AB included .... but either way, just glad to be a Galaxy member ;) Justin sure provides quality with service.Speaking of all good stuff, I'm looking forward to FSX UT to go with it as well, as that should nail the other aspects. Reading over there, things sure sound to look good. Quote regarding the transitions:"The city/town landclass is being improved in the FSX versions. We would like to improve the vegetative landclass (between the cities) also."As good as FSG combo/UT looked on FS9 - really looking forward to it on FSX.Regards'Garett
