Possible Bug Requesting VFR Flight Following After Departure

Recommended Posts

So I think I may be encountering a bug or maybe I'm doing something wrong.

I have no problems requesting VFR flight following from departure prior to takeoff with my voice. However, if I request while in the air using my voice, I don't get a response back from ATC. My dialogue is captured correctly, but the only way to get a response is to repeat the request with the SayIt function. This is not an intermittent issue, and I can reproduce it every time.

Is this a bug, or am I not doing it the correct way?

If you send  the P2A log file for a flight where this happened to admin@pilot2atc.com, I will have a look.  The SayIt function uses the same Speech engine as the voice input, so if you say the same works as SayIt, then it should be working.

P2A Log files are located in: C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Roaming\P2A_200\Logs where <UserName> is your PC user name.
Portions of the path may be hidden by default, so be sure Windows Explorer has Show Hidden Items checked in the View tab.
