P2A_XPLink plugin with XPlane11 on Mac Bootcamp

Is anyone having luck getting the XPLink plugin working on a Mac with Windows 10 on bootcamp?  I'm receiving an error message "No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it 127.0.0.1:48007" from within the Pilot2ATC logs.  Contacted Microsoft and their support advised that actively refused means the port does not exist.  Not sure if this is a Windows problem or Bootcamp problem at this point or router issue.  Have spent allot of time trying to solve it for anyone else having this issue with absolutely no success.  I'm hoping I'm not alone.

Any help from anyone else using Bootcamp who have found a workaround or just plain got it to work is very much welcome & appreciated!!
