POI markers in Discovery flights not removable?

Hi,

 

sorry for that stupid question but is it really true that one cannot disable POI markers in the newly introduced Discovery flights? Dropdown only gives me optins to cycle trought them but not tio disable.Have disabled them in the assistance menu tough.
