August 16, 20214 yr Hello, I recently did a reload of FSX SE and had a heck of a time setting up my GTN-650. I finally got it to recognize my key and I have a menu in FSX. The problem is that when I go to set up the aircraft, two things happen: 1) the screen resolution changes to 1024. 2) The nav radio does not show in the menu. It stays stuck at set up aircraft. I have access to it through the view menu and it works, but I am faced with trying to fly with the panel in my face. I have changed the resolution in FSX and it stays on 1920 x 1080, but when flying with the GTN, all three screens are stuck in 1024 x 768. The resolution changes whenever I access the GTN. I have a GTX 1080 Ti video card. I have searched the forums and cannot find anything on this issue. Please help.
August 17, 20214 yr Hi, Do you run in full screen? If so, what about ALT+ENTER prior opening the GTN Settings Panel GUI, and whence you're done, ALT+ENTER to restore full screen?
August 17, 20214 yr Author If it's in windowed mode, it freezes, and I have to call Task Manager to kill it. If it is in in full screen mode, it crashes to desktop. The main thing is, Setting up an airplane never results in the GTN menu. It always comes back to the Setup Menu.

I believe I therefore don't understand exactly what the problem is. - Can you try to explain what do your mean with "the nav radio doesn't show in the menu"? What nav radio? What menu? - Can you please also explain "I have a menu in FSX"? - Can you also please post the content of the RXP log files ? (see RXP User's manual for file/path) Also in your first post, you didn't mention it CTD. Now, it seems you can't go further (freeze in windowed mode, CTD in full screen). - Can you please try explaining in more details what is your monitor configuration (multi?single?) - What aircraft you're using (default? 3rd party?)
