August 24, 20214 yr Why does the RXP / F1 Installer always cause such a headache when trying to reinstall????? The whole procedure of downloading the newest installer, then reinstalling, then reactivating, then having to log into to F1 and reactivating your purchase, then trying to revalidate the reinstall with the key file or with the last 4 numbers of the credit card My GTN750 reinstall has succeeded, my GTN650 install has failed. I now get a message stating that my key might be corrupt, but the F1 website states that products with key files are no longer supported and I have to create a new account on a new system so that I can reinstall my product... I don't want to create yet another account on the most annoying and cumbersome platform that is known to the flight simming world just to be able to use my product that I purchased!!! Is there perhaps a workaround to this? Edited September 3, 20214 yr by RXP
September 3, 20214 yr Hi, I'm sorry for the delay. You shouldn't have to go through so many complex hoops when reinstalling, unless you've done it too many over a short period of time. Usually all it takes is launching the e-commerce installer, entering your F1 credentials, hit the REINSTALL button and that's all. Should you've done it too many times, you'll have to "re-activate" the license and this shouldn't take more than a few minutes usually via our e-commerce procurement partner online portal. Have you finally solved this since then?
