GNS430 and GNS 530 Trainer

Featured Replies

Hello all, new here so please excuse me if this topic was already touched upon but I could not find any info.

Its been a little while since I installed my Reality XP plugin, should I be seeing 2 sperate trainers in my c:\program86\Garmin\GNS Trainer\GNS  folder or just one? I think I may have deleted the trainer not really thinking it was something I needed a while back.

I ran the installer again and really didn't see any changes other then there had been an installer update. .I have the real sim gear 430 and 530 units and they both sim to work fine in my Xplane 11.55 but I have noticed recently that my 430 works however there is no sound from the simulator when clicking any of the buttons while flying. this maybe something to do with the Just flight PA28 Warrior II I am using since I recently updated it along with an updated plugin from RSG. But like I said I just wanted to make sure there was only one folder for both the 430 and 530, if there is a 2nd trainer that I need to reinstall what is the best way to go about that?

Thanks for taking the time to read this :-)

Hi,

There is only one GNS Trainer for all of the 4XX and 5XX GPS devices (there are more devices besides the 430 and 530!)
