MSFS 2020 Popping ups

Hello, any idea why, swapping from  cockpit view  to external view, textures popping up or if in wing views and swapping to next view same popping ups,

Today it can be anything, because downloading scenery from the cloud has been at best problematic in the last two or three days. So it is hard to diagnose it at this time.

Even with a perfect server connection and optimal scenery download, since SU5, the memory buffer for out of view scenery has been reduced, to the point that when you swap views it has to reload everything, and that needs time (actually the refresh is pretty fast, thanks to modern PC's and optimized data pathways, but it remains pretty annoying and an absolute immersion killer, especially for VFR flights).

The fact that after this upgrade the memory needed by the game never exceeds that of a well known game console is considered by some users purely coincidental.

That this happened the exact day when the game was released for that same console is also, according to some users, completely unrelated with the above.

On the bright side, the devs are working on a set of graphics preferences to allow users with a better hardware to make use of it and restore the great graphics that we used to have. The update should be out Sep 7th, so in about one week. 

Interestingly, a few users are not seeing the problem you describe and the graphics degradations. We are lucky that the devs have seen and acknowledged them, so they can solve the issues and restore the beautiful piece of software that we had before SU5.

Thank you so much, very detailed and understand explanation. Never had this problem before SU5 and honestly was very annoying back in old days with p3d5. Was very unrealistic and was happy with MSFS before SU5. Hopefully is going to fix very soon
