Piper Tripacer

Featured Replies

Has anyone gotten Bill Lyons Piper Tripacer to display properly. After loading it into FSX I get several popups telling me guages are not correct but after loading, all guages display properly. My problem is that some of the exterior textures on the outside are showing up as black instead of the proper color. I hate to lose the use of this plane as it was a Piper Tripacer I owned and learned to fly in many years ago. Now because of health problems Bill Lyons Tripacer is as close to flying one as I can get. Thanks Chuck

I get the same and would love to know if there is an exterior fix, it is a great aircraft, would love to see it looking better in FSX.Regards, MichaelKDFWNot anti FS9, just pro FSX!

Dosen't someone have any ideas on what could be done with this aircraft so that it displayed all the textures. I could sure use some help on this one.ThanksChuck

I've noticed that on some of his models, Bill likes to use colored polygons instead of applying textures. It sounds like that's what you might be running afoul of in your FSX port. I'm not aware of any way to fix that other than to re-export the original source file to a native FSX format.

Thanks BillI was hoping for a more positive reply but can't always get what you want.Chuck
