export/import custom waypoints

Featured Replies

Hi,
I am a very happy user of RealityXP in combination with a GNS530 and GNS430. My SIM-aircraft is a Diamond DA40-180 just like the real aircraft I am flying with the same avionic setup. I am flying VFR in Central Europe, home airport is LOAN.

My questions are these:
1) in my flight region a lot of VFR-waypoints are not integrated in the Nav-Data of RealityXP and need to be created. The creation of many waypoints on the nav-units is very uncomfortable, is there a way to type them into a file ?
2) question number two connects to the previous one, can the data base of waypoints be exported ?
3) programming a route externally and load them into the nav-units would be so comfortable, is there a possibility to do it that way?
4) is it correct, that the sub-screens for GNS530/430 have to be in active popup-window-mode? Turning them off in my setup makes the screens disappear.

thank you in advance for any information and input

Albert

Hi,

Questions 1,2 and 3 are all answered in the RXP GNS User's Manual in the chapters "User Waypoints" and "Import Flight Plans".

As for 4, I'm sorry but I'm not sure to understand. Do you mean if you close the popup window, it will disappear?!
