Stuck at "Installing dependencies" on startup

I haven't launched the sim since last Sunday. I tried to run it a few minutes ago and a small dialog box comes out saying "Installing Dependencies" with just the cancel button on it. I left it alone for a couple minutes and it went away. And so on.

Neither the XBox app not the Microsoft store app are allowing me to update.

Did it happen to anyone else?

Configure browser push notifications
