Airfoilabs King Air 350 with GTN 750 not working...

Recommended Posts

Hello I had been using the combination of AFL King air 350 with GTN 750 without a problem but today I made a fresh install of both the aircraft and GTN and I probably made a mess...

When I load the aircraft with engines running both GTNs working fine. When I press Cold & Dark state and power up again the aircraft I have black screens to the GTNs.

I tried to check and unchek the GTN 1 option from the plug in order to go back to default gps and activate again GTN. When I did that GTN 1 came to life but when I tried make the same with GTN 2 X- plane hangs and crashes.

Every time I try to quit X- plane when I have loaded King Air X-plane crashes, actually hangs forever and I close it from task Manager. I figured out the the problem is the GTN simulator.exe that causes the crash when I use AFL. Because I tried the non gps version and it quits normaly.

I tried with a different aircraft the GTN works fine..

here is the log from windows:

After many test I figured out that probably it's a kind of bug from the AFL side. I am just posting this here in case someone has the same problem.

When the plane is Cold & Dark if you turn ON the External Power switch with the battery OFF then the GPS not working even if you start the plane normally and when you try to quit X-plane it hangs and the only way to close it is by task manager. On the other hand if you have the Battery switch ON and the turn ON the Ext. Power switch then everything works as it should and X-plane closes normal.
