Ice Pilots NWT Rejoice: Yellowknife is out for 7 Euros

Featured Replies

I have had mixed luck with Project MAX, but I just snarfed up their Yellowknife, and it is easily worth twice the price. Special snow config, lots of detail and of course the iconic Buffalo hanger. It really captures the feel. Thought some of you might be interested to check it out. (No installer.) I got it an SimMarket and left a review. Still a minor graphic issue or two, but nothing to make you think twice about buying it.

UPDATE: I already heard back from the good folks at Project MAX and if I understand correctly, they have cleaned up the "blood on the snow" (without explanation--I approve) and one or two other things and new installers are available at SimMarket. It's late and I have to get some sleep, so I'm just passing along what I heard back from them. I'll try it all out again and report back unless someone beats me to it. This is exactly what I mean about new developers finding their niche in P3D. These guys are getting better and I hope they tackle other projects that we want. How many massive international airports does even Mr. DC-8 need? There are just ridiculous bargains to be found out there. For seven euros, you're not only getting a really nice airport to fly out of while let's say hypothetically wearing your Buffalo hoodie with the green lining, not that anyone would actually have one of those. Nope, not me. But you're also supporting developers who value P3D customers. Win-win.
