WT g3000 Radar Appears to Work Well

On a flight through inclement weather in the TBM I decided to try the weather radar.  Before I turned on the radar I first activated NEXRAD to get an overall picture:

It appeared that I had some heavy cells ahead of me so I activated the Radar:

At this point the heavy precip was below me and that's what it indicated.  When I began descent, I took a look ahead in horizontal mode:

The pictures painted were fairly accurate.  When in the dark or open areas it was just a light rain or everything was still.  As I worked into the red zones the rain was heavy and turbulence increased (I stayed out of the magenta zones).  Paint me impressed.

Bear in mind the NEXRAD is delayed 15-20mins (at least the real one - who knows what MSFS is depicting)

Tried it in the CJ4 the other night and it looked good as well. Fairly accurate (looking) surprisingly.
