April 3, 200719 yr A while back I posted a question as to the location of the FSX.cfg file in Vista. Some of you pointed me to the C:UsersNAMEAppdataRoamingMicrosoftFSX location.Sure enough there was a FSX.cfg file there. as I started looking through the file I noticed this.[DISPLAY.Device.NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GS.0]Mode=1280x1024x32The problem is I have a GeForce 8800 GTS and I'm running at 1680x1050x32 I used to have a 7600. When I open the sim it shows the correct vid card and resolution. Anyone know what's going on with this? Snowfalcon13 KRTS Reno, NV. April 3, 200719 yr Did you scroll through the entire config file looking for video card definitions? Sometimes after replacing a card or updating the graphics drivers, I've noticed that I still have old definitions listed in the file even though it's obvious that the newer ones are being used. If I look, I'll find the new ones as well as the old ones. Just delete the older set. R-
