Sound Settings Issue (Please Help)

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I have the following Issue:  The audio (sound and input) always comes from what i choose on my window (10 64 bit) menu, and  my Prepar3d V4.5 settings are never taken into account.

This is mostly annoying since windows has one default audio output, which means that i cannot set up both my headset and speakers at the same time.

Any help would be appreciated

In p3d go to options, general, sound. Then you can designate where you want headphone audio and engine, etc audio. Also, within Windows Settings, go to Sounds and pick either your default or headphones if you want sound from your speakers or headphones.

Thank you for your answer.  Unfortunately this does not work.  It seems that prepar3d does not take into account its settings, but instead uses as audio sources the ones that i pick through windows sound settings

Not sure why this does not work, I have sub headphones and speakers linked by a y connector. Within P3D I can designate separate settings .
