Been having an issue with MSFS2020 crashing to desktop.

I am a long time user of LNM and never had any issues untill SU6 for msfs.

It always happens on approach within 20-30 miles of the destination. Does not matter the airport, region, or aircraft.

I have disabled AI traffic in the sim and made a few other changes to settings but still have the issue. Can fly for an hour or two with no issues but usually just as I am turning to final POOF CTD.

Also have noticed occasionally LNM will pop up it's icon in the tool bar flashing orange as if it needed some attention. But nothing seems to be out of order.

Tried turning off most all of the online stuff in LNM but still have the same issue.

I am not 100% sure LNM is causing the issue, still testing. Basically trying a few flights without LNM to verify.

Just thought I would ask if any others have had the same behavior and maybe some suggestions as to what I might try changing.

I dont believe it is the flight plan. The flight plan was a simple VFR direct Departure / Destination.

Also it happens consistently with various airports / plans. Nearly 100% of the time.

Always on approach within about 30 miles of the destination descending and just about ready to turn to final and POOF CTD. Nearly 100% of the time. Regardless of the airport, aircraft, etc. Even had it happen one time with the runway in sight.
 

I am thinking it has something to do with a scenery download.

I'd remove all from the Community folder and try again.

Yea tried that except for a few essentials,like fsuipc, etc.

Doing a full re-install and going to try as vanilla as possible and test again. Just frustrating and time consuming.

 

Oh almost forgot I think I mentioned about LNM sometimes popping up the icon in the tool bar flashing orange (when it was minimized), As if it needed some sort of attention. I dont think it is related but made me wonder.

Strange. This might happen if LNM opens a dialog or a window. Should not happen except errors. Will check.
