a few simple questions about this beautiful creature. i seem to be missing a visible afterburner effect. can someone explain how to achieve this? second, i tried to shut down the engine using F1, but this did not work. is there another way to cut the engines? are most people flying the plane in the vc mode? much of the useful flight information appears to be available only in the 2d mode.apart from these issues, the plane installed without problems and appears to fly well. now i need to find me some fsx carriers.thanks once again to ivan kostik and steve hinson.steve chavin

Steve,I believe that's CTRL+Shift+F1 to cut off fuel and shut it down tho' I don't often turn off a Tomcat; it sounds just too fantastic!Effects are "children" of the PANEL. They work better if you visit the inside(cockpit)of the AC before you start looking for them (so to speak).Flight view... I like the outside view so I generally spend more time outside, but use the inside for appropriate things like switches and radar. But I have no issue with opening windows while in the outside view either. If you can fly a Tomcat just 10' from the ground at 500 kts from the VC view, you're a better man than I... LOLLoyd

Hooked since FS4... now flying: FSX Acceleration on Win7/64, Core Duo E8400; GA-EP45-DS3R; GTX 460-768MB; 4G RAM; Freezer 7 Pro
