November 14, 20214 yr Issue: After starting a flight in VR and sitting in the cockpit, the panel is moving back and forth if you move your head back and forth (i.e. the distance to the panel is kept constant). Solution: Go to the Mixed Reality-Portal (the one being started as soon as you plug in your headset). There is a small menu on the l.h.s. Open the third icon from above ("Representation of Spatial Limits", or similar, I am using a German language version). There are two options, once more "Representation of Spatial Limits" with a switch and "Setup Spatial Limits". Choose the second one. There are again two options (plus images): "Use VR unlimited" and "Use VR sitting or standing". Go to the second one. There is a security query "Are you sure?", reply yes. Next, hold the headset as described in the image and press "Center" at the bottom button. Remarks: (i) This is a tracking issue, tracking is lost, why ever. (ii) This worked for me a couple of times now, when I had the issue (iii) You can even do this without leaving the simulator. Just Alt+Enter to bring the simulator into windowed mode. Now you can access the Mixed Reality-Portal in the task bar. (iv) I found some other suggestions in fora like improving lighting which didn't work for me (expectedly, as I usually have always a similar lighting while simming). (v) This worked for me using a HP Reverb 1. Most probably it will work for the Reverb 2 and similar WMR-headsets, too Kind regards, Michael Intel i7-13700K / AsRock Z790 / Crucial 32 GB DDR 5 / ASUS RTX 4080OC 16GB / BeQuiet ATX 1000W / WD m.2 NVMe 2TB (System) / WD m.2 NVMe 4 TB (MSFS) / WD HDD 10 TB / XTOP+Saitek hardware panel / LG 34UM95 3440 x 1440 / HP Reverb 1 (2160x2160 per eye) / Win 11
